Are both Heritage Tree Pruning and/or Removal applications required?
Yes, both are required to adhere to the recently adopted Shot-Clock process.
How do I submit a Heritage Tree Pruning and/or Removal application?
All development applications are accepted and reviewed online through MyGovernmentOnline (MGO). Please visit our Development Manual page for our fee schedule and application checklists.
When can I begin work on the identified tree(s)?
Work on any Heritage Tree can commence once all required fees for Heritage Tree Pruning/Removal have been paid, and the Planning & Zoning Commission has approved.
Is a licensed Arborist required to perform all pruning/removal work on Heritage Trees?
Yes, a registered Arborist with the state of Texas is required to sign and provide their arborist number on the Heritage Tree application and oversee all work performed on Heritage Trees.
