How do I know if I live in a Historic District?
Please visit our Historic Properties Map and search an address. The map provides information about your property’s priority level (high, medium, low) as well as the Historic Overlay Districts.
How do I know if I need to submit a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) application?
If your project type is listed in the following table, you will need a COA unless the project type is exempt from COA review. For assistance with determining whether a COA application is required, please visit our Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) Applications page, or contact historic@georgetown.org or (512)930-3581.
How do I submit a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) application?
Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) applications are accepted and reviewed online through MyGovernmentOnline (MGO). Please visit our Development Manual page for our fee schedule and application checklists.
